Corporate Overview

Boss Energy's Tasmanite oil shale project is located between Latrobe and Railton, 10 kilometres south-west of the port of Devonport in Northern Tasmania with excellent access to existing infrastructure (port and roads).

The Latrobe oil project has a JORC indicated resource of 42 million tonnes of Tasmanite oil shale of which approximately 6 million tonnes is at less than 20 metres depth and amenable to open cut mining methods. An additional JORC compliant inferred resource of 30 million tonnes of Tasmanite oil shale is estimated.

The Tasmanite oil shale horizon within EL 20/2004 has already produced 1.13 million litres of oil from historical underground mining operations. Historical drilling campaigns have demonstrated a continuity of the deposit over a large area.

The variety of oil shale found at the company's Latrobe Oil Project is unique to Tasmania and has advantages over other Australian oil shales in that it can be used as a source of bitumen as well as oil and power generation.

Boss Energy has an experienced Board with exploration, production, project evaluation and development and corporate skills and will consider other acquisition opportunities that have the potential to add value for shareholders.

With a highly skilled exploration and operations team in place Boss Energy is committed to its oil shale project and is on the pathway to production.

Boss Energy has an experienced management team and a highly skilled exploration and operations team in place with practical local mineral exploration and business experience.

Mr Robert Grover (Non-Executive Director)

Mr Grover's expertise is in corporate and financial management and he has been involved in the listing of a number of public companies both on the ASX and London Stock Exchange's AIM. Mr Grover is a Fellow of The Institute of Company Directors, member of the Australian Society of Accountants CPA and holds a Bachelor of Business.

Mr Grover is also a director of Contact Resources Limited and Cervantes Seafood Limited. Previously Mr Grover was a director of Redport Limited.

Mr Joseph Obeid (Non-Executive Director)

Mr Obeid has extensive business development, operational and management experience across a wide range of industries. He has particular expertise in identifying business opportunities together with development and implementing effective business strategies to ensure optimum profitability.

Mr Obeid has been awarded an Australia Medal for Services and Diligence.

Mr Tom Grove (Director)

Mr Grove has experience as a private equity adviser and has been involved in raising finance for a number of companies. He has been a director of I-Trade, a web based worldwide commodity trading platform, since 2006.

Mr Winton Willesee (Company Secretary)
Qualifications: BBus., DipEd., PGDipBus., MCom., FFin, CPA, MAICD

Winton has broad experience in the company administration of ASX listed companies, corporate governance and corporate finance. Winton has a Master of Commerce, Post-Graduate Diploma in Business (Economics and Finance), a Diploma in Education and a Bachelor of Business. Winton is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and a Member of CPA Australia. Winton is also a Director of Newera Uranium and Hawk Resources Limited and has filled the role of Company Secretary with a number of listed and unlisted public companies. He is currently also the Company Secretary of Mantle Mining Limited, Balkans Gold Limited, Newera Uranium Limited and Hawk Resources Limited.

Mike Blake (Consultant Geologist)

Mike Blake is Boss Energy's Tasmanian based geologist who has almost twenty years experience in the mining and resources sector.

Mike will oversee the geological exploration of the company's Latrobe oil shale project.

Mike has most recently been employed with resources companies Bass Metals and Zinifex as an Exploration Geologist. He has also previously worked at Newcrest Exploration, Copper Mines of Tasmania and at the University of Tasmania in a variety of exploration and geological research positions.

Mike Blake has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Tasmania and has written and submitted numerous geological study reports for the Australian resources sector.
